This standard is issued under the fixed designation A193/A193M; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year of original adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision.

This specification covers alloy and stainless steel bolt-ing materials and bolting components for pressure vessels,valves, flanges, and fttings for high temperature or highpressure service, or other special purpose applications.
